Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico are members of the Group of Twenty (G20). The other members are Canada, Australia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the UK, the US, and the European Union (EU).

The member countries play a critical role in steering the global economy through the significant challenges it faces. The G20 brings together the world’s major and systemically important economies. Its members represent 85% of global GDP, 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world’s population.

Brazil will host the G20 in 2024, followed by South Africa in 2025.
